About Us

DiagnosisONE was formed in 1999 by a team of Physicians and Computer Science experts who had a vision about the coming transformation in Healthcare based upon a confluence of a number of factors that were then just beginning to come into focus. These factors, the Genomics revolution, Compliance and cost considerations, the revolution in Information Technology and the advent of the World Wide Web, have now begun to change the practice of medicine in fundamental ways. Our belief is that all of the stake holders in the healthcare arena, patients, care providers and institutions will need a new set of tools to navigate thru this changing landscape.

Since its inception the DiagnosisONE team has been developing capabilities that will help all of the stakeholders extract more value from the healthcare system and do it more cost effectively. The capabilities we have been developing fall into four categories

  • Diagnostic algorithms that will be the basis of future care delivery guidelines
  • Patents that relate to tools that will facilitate the delivery of care in the new environment
  • The Information Technology infrastructure and applications that will deliver the new tools to the healthcare systems and
  • Care pathways and rules that can be used by any clinical system to generate alerts, schedule events and automate work flows.

The first capability was achieved in the summer of 2002 when the text book titled "Guide to Diagnostic Testing" and containing some of the algorithms that we have developed was published by Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins. The second capability is ongoing and we have applied for two patents covering the capabilities that we intend to deliver. The third capability is now a reality with the launch of our first software product. The fourth and final capability is an ongoing effort that is now available to our customers and partners.

We look forward to an opportunity to benefit you in the near future.
